Reading helps in invoking general inquisitiveness and ignites an interest in learning more.

When play and education is mixed together, children willingly engage in the process. While studying may seem like a forced burden, they will thoroughly enjoy playing games like ‘ATLAS,’ ‘Hop on the World,’ etc. which will make them unconsciously get done with their daily dose of G.K. Class.

Television can be a great medium to impart general knowledge to your kids in an entertaining manner.                                              Create A Healthy Atmosphere for Discussion


Encourage discussions at home. On dining table, during meals or tea-time. Talk about the important events happening around, encourage your child to be a part of the discussions in their own capacities and clear their doubts and answer their questions. It is most often seen that a family where the parents have deep interest in world affairs and have an exchange of ideas and opinions quite frequently, have the kids too growing up with excellent general awareness.

Bharat Ratna Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam, generally known as Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, was the 11th President of India (2002-2007). He was elected against Lakshmi Sehgal in 2002 and had support from both the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Indian National Congress, the two leading political parties of India.
